There are a ton of reasons to go small when planning a wedding celebration and all of them are valid. Whether you are planning an intimate wedding celebration to skip the stress, the massive bill, or just so you can be more present in the moment- the pinnacle of your love story deserves to be told with passion. I provide documentary style photography for intimate weddings, elopements, micro-weddings, etc. all over Massachusetts and the greater New England area.

I am all about storytelling and intimate wedding celebrations are all about stories. The smaller size allows people to come closer together and to be a part of the event in a way that’s hard to do in a function hall full of people. Smaller weddings allow for more intimacy and interaction between a couple and their guests and this means that photographs have a lot more narrative power. These weddings also allow couples to put more of a personal spin on their celebration and to celebrate their love in a more meaningful way. This is what I thrive on as a photographer.

Scroll down. All of these photos were taken at smaller wedding ceremonies. Some of these weddings were small from day one and some of these started out as large affairs but were forced to downsize because of the pandemic. You might not see huge crowds but you do see real smiles, real joy, and real moments. All weddings are stories and all stories should be told- regardless of the size.

Still with me? Awesome. Weddings in 2021 are trending towards smaller, more intimate events. Whether you are looking to capture a city hall ceremony, a small elopement, or backyard wedding- your story deserves to be captured with just as much enthusiasm as a traditional wedding. I have special pricing for intimate wedding celebrations that last four hours or less and have less than 40 guests. Pricing starts at $800.
